BMW Leads Close Qualifying Battle at Spa

The BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team secured pole position during qualifying at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps.

Racing on home soil, the Belgian squad delivered a fastest lap of 2:18.703.

The session remained extremely competitive throughout qualifying. The top four teams finished within one second of each other.

YART Yamaha and Honda Close Behind

YART Yamaha secured second position, only 0.529 seconds behind BMW.

F.C.C. TSR Honda France followed closely in third place.

Fourth position went to Yoshimura SERT Motul aboard the Suzuki machine.

The leading quartet confirmed how competitive this year’s endurance field has become.

Tight Midfield Fight Shapes Grid

Kawasaki Webike Trickstar completed the top five positions.

The Japanese squad finished 1.146 seconds behind the provisional pole time.

Elf Marc VDS Racing Team KM99 and AutoRace Ube Racing Team also impressed with strong qualifying performances.

Further top ten positions went to Tati Team AVA6 Racing, ERC Endurance, and MAXXESS By BMRT3D.

TRT27 AZ Moto Leads Superstock Category

The Superstock class produced another close qualifying session.

TRT27 AZ Moto topped the category with a lap of 2:22.578.

Revo M2 and Champion Hert Powered by MRP followed extremely closely behind.

Only eight thousandths of a second separated the two chasing teams.

In the Production category, Greenteam 42 Lycée Sainte Claire set the benchmark lap time.

Oil Spill Causes Major Chaos

The opening qualifying session delivered dramatic scenes at Spa.

Changing weather conditions created a difficult circuit with damp and drying sections across the track.

An oil spill at Turn 14 triggered a major multi bike accident involving ten riders. Race control immediately stopped the session with red flags.

Despite cleanup efforts, several riders continued struggling with grip levels after the restart.

Team PMS99 and Team 18 Pompiers Igol CMS Motostore were among the teams involved in crashes.

Endurance Battle Set for Exciting Race

Qualifying confirmed the extremely competitive nature of the current endurance motorcycle field.

BMW enters the race weekend with momentum after its strong home performance.

However, Yamaha, Honda, and Suzuki remain firmly within striking distance heading into the main event.
