NGT Racing secured a fourth victory at the Belisol 24 Hours of Zolder after a dramatic endurance race in Limburg.
The Porsche squad completed the shortened event one lap ahead of ART Racing. Belgium Racing finished third to secure the Belcar Endurance Championship title.
The race ended 30 minutes earlier than planned after a late crash damaged the circuit barriers. Race control therefore stopped the event with a red flag.
NGT Racing Leads Porsche to Another Zolder Victory
NGT Racing delivered another successful performance with its Porsche 992 GT3 Cup.
Laurens Vanthoor and Bertrand Baguette both celebrated their second Zolder victory. Glenn Van Parijs secured his third win at the famous Belgian circuit.
Tom Van Rompuy claimed his first overall victory at Zolder. The result puts him level with his father Dirk Van Rompuy.
Jonny Edgar also made history with his victory. The British driver became the first British winner of the Limburg endurance classic.
Porsche now has 22 victories in the Belisol 24 Hours of Zolder.
ART Racing Secures Second Place
ART Racing produced an impressive performance to finish second overall.
Lorenzo Donniacuo, Benjamin Paque, Kaï Rillaerts, Enzo Joulié and Christoff Corten shared the Porsche.
The combination of young talent and experience kept ART Racing firmly in contention throughout the race.
The team eventually finished one lap behind the victorious NGT Racing entry.
Belgium Racing Wins the Belcar Endurance Championship
Belgium Racing completed the overall podium with its number 99 Porsche.
Dylan Derdaele, Nicolas Saelens, Paul Meijer, Xavier Maassen and Niels Lagrange shared the winning championship entry.
Third place was enough to secure the Belcar Endurance Championship title.
Porsche also dominated the positions behind the podium. NGT Racing finished fourth, fifth and sixth with its number 15 and number 27 cars.
Belgium Racing added its number 98 Porsche to the top six.
RedAnt Racing Suffers Early Retirement
Pole position went to RedAnt Racing before the race began.
The team entered the event as one of the leading favourites. However, mechanical problems ended its challenge much earlier than expected.
The retirement opened the door for NGT Racing and the other Porsche entries.
SRT Wins the GT Sport Class
The first non Porsche car in the overall classification also secured a class victory.
SRT Racing won the GT Sport category with its Mercedes AMG GT4.
Jarne De Meulder, Alec Verbergt, Hudson Schwartz and Arthur Peters delivered a faultless performance.
The team finished ahead of the VR Racing by NGT Porsche Cayman GT4 RS.
Dirk Van Rompuy shared the Porsche and secured another podium at Zolder. The result came during his 40th participation in the event.
Koopman Racing completed the class podium with its BMW M4 GT4.
Team Van Osta Wauters Wins Super Sport
Team Van Osta Wauters claimed victory in the Super Sport category.
The BMW M240i was shared by father and son Wauters, the Van Osta family and Nico Verdonck.
GTE Racing finished second with its Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.
Team Dayvtec completed the podium with its BMW M240i.
M3M Endurance Academy Dominates Club Sport
M3M Endurance Academy controlled the Club Sport category with its BMW M2 Racing.
Raphaël Dauw, Thibauld Geladé, Arthur Sente and Jordan Genten shared the victorious car.
ML Autosport finished second with its BMW 120i. JJ Motorsport completed the podium with its BMW 330i CS.
Convents Racing Team Wins Club Challenge
BMW also secured victory in the Club Challenge category.
Convents Racing Team took the class win with a strong family focused driver lineup.
Davy Convents, Vincent Convents and Céline Convents were joined by Steve Raymakers, Sébastian De Jonge and Philippe Lowette.
4OUR Racing by Roos Motorsport finished second with its Mazda MX 5.
Ontrack Events by BMW Team Van der Horst completed the podium with its BMW 325i.
Belcar Endurance Championship Finale Awaits
The Belcar Endurance Championship will return to Zolder for its season finale.
The final round takes place on 17 and 18 October.
After a dramatic Belisol 24 Hours of Zolder, another competitive weekend awaits the Belgian endurance racing community.
