Red Camel Jordans.nl secured a richly deserved victory in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup at Spa Francorchamps, controlling the 12 hour race for much of the event and taking the chequered flag one lap ahead of its closest rivals.
The Dutch team delivered a composed performance after overcoming an early false start penalty. Breukers initially moved from fourth on the grid into the overall lead during the opening lap in the No.9 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Despite the setback of the penalty, Red Camel recovered the top position during the second hour and remained firmly in control for the rest of the race.
The result finally delivered the Endurance Cup victory that Red Camel Jordans.nl had been targeting.
Breukers Leads Strong Red Camel Recovery
Breukers made an immediate impact at the start, attacking from fourth and quickly moving into the fight for first place. The Red Camel Porsche showed strong pace through the opening stages, although the false start penalty briefly handed the advantage to Mühlner Motorsport.
Leveau regained the lead after serving the drive through penalty, while Meurrens produced an impressive charge from the back of the grid to move MM Racing into contention.
The first major incident arrived shortly after the 30 minute mark. Mühlner Motorsport suffered a dramatic front right wheel failure at Stavelot. Leveau managed to return safely to the pits, but the car required another visit for additional checks and lost three laps.
That opened the door for Breukers to return to the front.
Theeba Motorsport Takes PRO AM Victory
Theeba Motorsport by Quanloop EST1 Racing secured second overall while also winning the PRO AM class.
Meijer shared the Porsche with Ali and Reema Juffali, with the trio overcoming several electrical problems during the race. Despite those difficulties, Meijer produced outstanding pace throughout his driving stints.
His performance was highlighted by the fastest lap of the race, a 2m21.099s effort that underlined the competitiveness of the Theeba Motorsport Porsche.
The team remained within striking distance of Red Camel throughout the second half of the event. As darkness fell at Spa, the gap was reduced to one lap ahead of the final hour, creating further pressure on the leaders.
Red Camel, however, held its advantage to the finish.
AF Motorsport Completes the Overall Podium
AF Motorsport finished third overall and second in PRO AM after recovering from the loss of pole position.
The team had initially secured pole through the Top 5 Shoot Out on Friday, September 4, but an infringement involving its car resulted in the position being removed.
Pereira, Fontana, Fernandes and Potolicchio responded strongly during the race. Their Porsche remained competitive throughout the 12 hours, although fuel management became critical during the closing stages.
Pereira had to carefully conserve fuel in the final part of the race to ensure the car could reach the chequered flag.
MM Racing Impresses After Building Car on Friday
One of the standout performances came from MM Racing.
The Meurrens family entry finished fourth overall and won the AM S class despite facing an extraordinary preparation challenge. The Porsche was only completed on Friday, meaning the team missed both testing and qualifying.
Meurrens nevertheless showed impressive pace and quickly moved through the field from the back of the grid.
The team looked set for a remarkable overall podium before a late fuel stop changed the picture. Mick Meurrens was forced to visit the pits with less than eight minutes remaining, dropping the Porsche from the overall podium.
Fourth place and AM S victory still represented an outstanding achievement.
LMR Motorsport Wins AM B Class
LMR Motorsport took a convincing AM B class victory after a strong performance from Svepes, Marques and Martins.
The team fought off HRT Performance, which finished one lap behind. Gambrell, Gilmore, Vignali and Uematsu shared the HRT Porsche and remained in contention throughout the race.
Speed Lover completed the AM B podium with Hensen, Terclavers and Hunter.
Early Race Battle Sets the Tone at Spa
The opening stages produced an intense battle for the overall lead.
Tox Leveau started from pole for Mühlner Motorsport, but Breukers immediately attacked from fourth. Martins also joined the fight, creating a three way battle into the opening corners.
Breukers completed the decisive move at Pouhon, taking second before pressuring Leveau for the lead. The track was slightly damp in places, adding another challenge during the opening laps.
The situation changed when false start penalties were handed to both Breukers and Leandri. Leveau therefore regained the lead, while Meurrens continued his remarkable progress from the back.
Mühlner’s wheel failure then became the first major turning point of the race.
Safety Car Creates Another Fight for the Lead
A Full Course Yellow period was required after the Speed Lover Porsche became stranded in the gravel. The subsequent Safety Car closed the field and brought Red Camel, MM Racing and Theeba Motorsport together on the lead lap.
Meijer immediately showed his pace after the restart, moving past Meurrens to take second. Pereira also recovered ground for AF Motorsport.
Early in the fifth hour, Meijer overtook Breukers at Blanchimont for the overall lead. However, the move involved the run off area and a drive through penalty was subsequently announced.
The Theeba Motorsport Porsche made its pit visit and dropped to third. Meijer quickly recovered, passing Meurrens for second before returning to the overall lead within a few laps.
Red Camel Takes Control After Half Distance
The lead continued to change during the mandatory pit stops, but Red Camel gradually established control.
At half distance, Ali Juffali led for Theeba Motorsport with Breukers just over 20 seconds behind. Breukers quickly closed the gap and then pulled away at a strong rate.
Within another 30 minutes, the Red Camel Porsche had built an advantage of almost two minutes over Meurrens. Reema Juffali took over the Theeba Motorsport car and remained third.
As sunset arrived at Spa Francorchamps, Red Camel held a two lap advantage over both Theeba Motorsport and MM Racing.
Meijer continued to apply pressure and reduced the deficit to one lap before the final hour. Nevertheless, Red Camel maintained its composure and protected its lead until the finish.
Chazel Technologie Course Takes Second in AM S
Chazel Technologie Course finished sixth overall and secured second place in AM S.
Leandri, Colombani, Trojani and Guillot recovered well after the early race penalty and remained competitive throughout the event.
Mühlner Motorsport also fought back after its early problems. Leveau, Bednarski and Saca brought the Porsche home in sixth overall.

The Spa Francorchamps 12 Hours once again delivered a demanding endurance contest featuring strong battles across multiple classes.
Red Camel Jordans.nl ultimately emerged as the dominant force, overcoming an early penalty and maintaining a controlled pace through the night.
The late fuel stop for MM Racing and the fuel saving required by AF Motorsport demonstrated how closely endurance racing can be decided in the final minutes.
